Persimmon Bread


Ingredients
1 C Persimmon Pulp
1/2 C Sugar
1 Egg
3 Tbsp Butter
1 C flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions
Mix all ingredients well.
Pour into a well greased & floured 8x8 pan.
Bake 40 min at 350

Notes
Recipe handed down by my Mom. She calls it Persimmon Cake, but I think it's more of a bread. This stuff is awesome with just a little butter. I grew up eating this made from fully-ripe Hachiya persimmons. Mom says the Fuyu will work too - but I can't get them to pulp.
