Brandee's Apple Cobbler

Ingredients
3-4 apples
2 stick butter
2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
2 dashes allspice
1 C flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Directions
Preheat Oven to 375
Peel, core, and chop apples.
Palce apples in cold water.
Melt 1/2 stick butter in sauce pan.
Remove apples from water and add to melted butter.
Combine 1/2 cup of sugar with the spices, mix well, and add to apples.
Simmer on low, stirring occasionally, until apples are tender.
Mix flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Melt 1 stick of butter and pour into 9x13 baking dish
Pour in batter mixture.
Spoon apples into 9x13, leaving most of sauce in pan.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar over apples.
Bake for 25 minutes
Add remaining 1/2 stick butter & 1/4 cup sugar into apple sauce.
Stir over heat until melted.
When cobbler is removed from oven dish up while hot and then drizzle sauce on top of each serving.
