Ingredients
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 small yellow onion, finely minced
4 garlic cloves, minced
24 oz can whole peeled tomatoes
6 oz tomato paste
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 Tbsp butter
1 tsp monk fruit
Directions
Open whole peeled tomatoes and blend until pureed
Warm olive oil and saute onion until translucent
Stir in tomato paste
Stir in pureed tomatoes, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes.
Bring to a gentle simmer.
Sprinkle in baking soda.
Stir in butter until melted and combined.
Add monk-fruit and salt to taste.
Notes
Will thicken as it stands.
