Cake Pops





Ingredients
1 box cake mix
1/2 to 3/4 container pre-made frosting
candy melts / chocolate / almond bark
assorted decorations

Directions
Make cake per box directions.
Let cool completely
Crumble cake
mix with frosting until dough can be shaped and will hold shape.
mold into desired forms and let refrigerate for 1 hour to set
melt the candy melt in a dish deep enough to dip entire cake pop in
dip end of cake pop stick in candy (about 1/8 inch)
insert into cake pop and let set
dip cake pop into melted candy
let harden, decorate as desired

Notes
Adjust cake mix & frosting flavors as wanted.  Do not add extra frosting - if the cake pop is too 'wet' it won't dip properly.  You don't have to shape circles either - adjust shape and decorations for what you want the cake pop to look like. Use wax paper if needed to help shape straight lines
