Ingredients
1/2 C powdered sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 C butter/margarine
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 C flour
1/2 C pecans, chopped
additional powdered sugar
Directions
In large bowl, combine 1/2 C sugar salt and butter.
Mix well.
Add vanilla.
Gradually stir in flour.
Work nuts into dough.
Cover and chill until firm.
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Form dough into 1in balls.
Place 1in apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 8-10 min or until set, but not brown.
Roll in additional sugar immediately.
Cool on wire racks.
Roll in sugar again.
Store in airtight container.
