Ingredients
1 container cool whip.
1 pkg orange jello
1 pint cottage cheese
1 can mandarin oranges
Directions
Mix all ingredients together.
Chill at least one hour.
Notes
Recipe handed down by my Mom. We grew up calling this "Orange Surprise" for some reason. I actually like it with a slight variation - substitute cherry jello for the orange and maraschino cherries for the oranges. We also always made it with whipped topping package mix instead of cool whip.
