Glazed Raisin-Cinnamon Biscuits


Ingredients
2 1/2 C Bisquick
1/2 C Raisins
2/3 C Milk
2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2/3 C powdered sugar
1 Tbsp warm water
1/4 tsp vanilla

Directions
Mix Bisquick, raisins, milk, sugar, and cinnamon until dough forms.
Beat 20 strokes.
Turn onto cloth-covered board dusted with baking mix.
Roll to coat.
Shape into ball.
Knead 10 times.
Roll 1/2 inch thick.
Cut with 2 1/2 inch cutter dipped in baking mix.
Bake at 450 on greased cookie sheet until golden brown, about 8-10min.
Mix powdered sugar, water, and vanilla until smooth to make glaze.
When biscuits are removed from oven, spread with glaze while still warm.

Notes
Recipe handed down by my Mom. The recipe recommends doubling the glaze. Makes 10 biscuits.
