Copycat Cranberry Bliss Bars






Ingredients

Bars:
1 C butter
1 1/2 C packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp orange extract
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 C flour
1 C white chocolate chips
3/4 C Craisins

Frosting & Topping:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 C powdered sugar
1/2 tsp orange extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 C Craisins, chopped
2 squares almond bark, melted

Directions

Bars:
Preheat oven to 350.  Line 13x9 inch pan with parchment paper.
Cream butter and brown sugar. 
Add in eggs, orange extract, and vanilla.
Add ground ginger, baking powder, salt, and flour, beating until just blended.  Do not overmix.
Stir in chocoplate chips and Craisins by hand.
Spread evenly into bottom of prepared pan.
Bake for 18-22 minutes until set and golden brown at edges. Do not overbake.
Remove from oven and let cool completely.

Frosting & Toppping:
Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar together.
Add orange & vanilla extract.
Top bars after they are completely cool.
Sprinkle with chopped craisins
Drizzle melted almond bark across the top.
Place bars in refrigerator for an hour to set before cooling.

This makes a lot and is very very sweet.  Cut into small bite size bits.  If you make large trinagles like Starbucks does, nobody can eat them.
