Savory Chili Rice

Ingredients
1 tbsp butter or margarine, melted.
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
2 tbsp chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1 can (40 oz) chili with beans
1 can (16 oz) tomatoes, drained, crushed.
4 cups cooked rice
3/4 cup sour cream (opt)
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions
Saute green pepper, onion, and garlic in butter, until tender.
Stir in chili and tomatoes.
Heat thoroughly.
Combine cooked rice and sour cream.
Top with chili mixture.
Garnish with grated parmesan cheese.
Makes 8 servings
