Hearty Sausage Soup

Ingredients
1/2 lb wagon wheel pasta
2 Tablespoons butter
1 lb smoked sausage, quartered
1 onion, chopped
3 Cups sliced celery
3 medium carrots, sliced
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
1 clove minced garlic
3 Tablespoons instant beef bullion
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1/8 teaspoon pepper
4 Cups water

Directions
Cook pasta per package directions
Melt butter in large heavy pot.
Add sausage, onion, celery, carrots, bell peper, and garlic to pot.
Cook until sausage is lightly browned and onions are translucent.
Stir in rest of ingredients and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and let simmer 20 minutes
Stir in cooked pasta into soup, heat through, and serve.
